Brockport Summer Dance 2018 presents Falcon Dance
August 17th - 26th, 2018
The Department of Dance welcomes artistic director Britney Falcon (BFA from the College at Brockport, '09) and her company members to share their approaches to dance technique, body conditioning, partnering, and repertory. Falcon Dance is currently based in New York City, a company committed to examination of societal norms, artistic virtuosity, and civic engagement as artists. In addition to teaching and sharing artistry throughout the 10-day workshop, this summer's intensive will result in the staging of a repertory work on an ensemble of student-performers. Additionally, the company will continue to deepen their work as artists in residence with a showing of this work-in-progress on Tuesday, August 28th at 7:30pm.
Registration is available here: $300 for participants registering before June 15th (otherwise $350), special $150 rate for recent alumni of the Department of Dance.
Housing options are available. And any further questions can be addressed to email@example.com
